What file format should I send?
PDF or AI if you can — those are vector files, so the cut follows your line exactly. We also take EPS, SVG, PNG and JPG (ideally 300 dpi), plus PSD and TIFF. Maximum 20 MB per file. A PNG with a transparent background gives the best result for a contour cut.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes, $40 before tax. If your cart lands under that, an adjustment shows up clearly in the total — there is never a surprise at checkout.
Can I order several different designs?
Yes. Set up your first design, add it to your order, then start again for the next one. Each design keeps its own file and its own options.
Do I get a proof before printing?
You approve what you see in the configurator before you order: that is your approval. If your file is clear to the shop, we print exactly what you approved. If something is not clear — not enough resolution, a doubtful colour, an ambiguous cut line, text that cannot be read — the shop gets back to you before printing, and nothing goes to press without your answer. A design from our catalogue goes to print exactly as it appears.
How long does it take?
Allow 2 to 5 business days for production. For road signage on rigid board, allow 10 business days. Shipping time is on top of that. If the shop had to write to you about your file, the clock starts from your answer. Write to us if it is urgent.
Are you closed at certain times of year?
Yes. The shop closes on statutory holidays, plus two weeks in winter and two weeks in summer. The exact dates are on the Contact us page. You can order during a closure: your order starts moving as soon as we are back.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes, free of charge, at our shop in Alma:
- The shop — 245, rue des Huarts, Alma, Québec G8E 2G1. Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Choose pickup at checkout, and wait for our confirmation email before making the trip.
Do your stickers hold up outdoors?
Yes. Our vinyl lasts about 5 years outside and stands up to rain, sun, and the dishwasher on the top rack.
What is the difference between the finishes?
No varnish means the natural surface of the vinyl — that is what we apply by default. Matte varnish takes the glare away and gives a surface that is soft to the touch: the sticker stays readable in full sun or under direct light.
See also gloss varnish, and where the extra cost is worked out
Gloss varnish is a shiny layer applied over the print: the colours come forward more and the surface stands up better to scratches. The extra cost of each varnish shows in the configurator, at the same time as the total — that is where the price is worked out, and it is the only source. See the Materials page.
Can I see my sticker before I pay?
Yes — the configurator shows a preview as soon as you upload your file, PDF included. That preview is what you approve before ordering.
Do you take business orders?
Yes. For large quantities, custom sizes or lettering, go through the Get a quote page — you can attach your files right there.
